The memory and fight
I arrived to feminism with a punch in the face. I want to start my entrance of this way, cause the same violence that feminism fight was present in my near life, with near situations.
My mom, is for me the entrance to feminism. She was a single mother in 1989, at the south, and during the dictatorship. That wasn't well seen. She had to fight against her family and society. Even they wanted her to abort. But she stood strong and decided to resist. That changed her forever.

She had to be a hard and cold to continue her life. She had to put a mask, a heavy mask, so she could work and live with her son. My brother.

Then, she met my father. She fell in love, married and I was born. But the life was hard again. She was forced in diferents levels, even the physical.

But she is strong, and decided to leave him and start a new life in other place with me and my brother. Without money, but without violence either. She worked hard and alone for the carreer of my brother and for me. All that I am is for her.

With this story, I dont want to victimize myself, or my mom, or family. Neither use it to validate my speech. I want to do an act of memory and pride (in relation to the mother's day too). It is important to remember that the violence is a daily thing, and remember all the fallen and all the people that continue resisting and fighting.

Her life for me was the entrance to question a lot of things, since the things that she had to pass just for being a woman, until how me, like a man, wanted to be a better man than my father, a better person for the society.

Now she and my niece are my support to continue this fight. It is a hard way, of constant questioning, discussion, and even physical fight. I want a better world for the new generations, like my niece. I want  a better world for everyone. I dont want to forget, cause her story is mine too.

 My favourite photography

By David Lagerlöf

This is my favourite picture. For me is so special cause it transmit an incredible power and feeling.
The picture was took by David Lagerlöf during a nazi protest at Sweden. Was the perfect moment and place. Tess Asplund, an afro-swede activist,  confront them (300 nazis) with her fist, body, spirit and face. Alone. Just her.
She was going for the street and saw it. She acted driven by rage, with brave and courage. Just with this simple act she becomes in a hero. Then, just a few seconds after, she was removed by the police, cause was an authorized protest.

In a time when the nacionalism, racism, sexism and extrem right are reborn strongly in the world, I believe that the small acts and the daily life are a crucial battlefield and resistance. We must to fight. We can't allow hate speech are normalized under the diversity of opinions.

"If this photo of me can get more people to dare to show resistance, then it's okay ... People have to come together and prove that it is not right that racism is normalizing and that the fascists are wandering our streets"

About my love for horror

I don´t have so much time to watch movies or series. I realized about it now writting this post. So, some of my favourities movies or series are old. Also, I don´t have just one.
So, I prefer to talk about my gold topic: Horror.

I like so much the horror movies. It's a little obesessive I think, but I like all of theme. Do they scare me? !Obviusly¡ And that is the best. The blood, and ghosts aren't my first option. I love the psychology horror. The mistery, tension, the intriguing things.

The ambient, and the camera are crucial, also the rythm and the esthetic. The strong sounds and dark colors are the best, also the contrast. How it immerses you in a mental contradiction, the confussion. I love the adrenaline rush, holding my breath, the beat of the heart.
I don´t disdain any movie. I think that any movie could be a great experience.

On the other hand, I like the topics about witchcraft, and myths.

My recomendation for today. are the movies by Rob Zombie. He has a interesting conceptual proposal. The mix is strange and exceptional.
"The lords of salem" was the last I watched from him. It's a good start.
