The blog (a stone in the shoe)

For me the blog has been a constant concern, not because it is something complex, it is actually because of the time.
I believe that in general it has been an interesting proposal through which to explore and express our thoughts in an interactive and practical way. However, I can not yet understand its usefulness more than a system that ensures a constant practice.
I feel it has been a great way to learn new words and refresh your memory over writing. I hope to continue to improve in the future.
In that line, I just want to rest in the near future (laughter, rain of memes and kittens), I do not think to go back to work on it.
It was entertaining to meet many of people through their post and see how their pen was reflected in another language.

My self criticism is the inconstancy to upload the post. Now, when I write this in the morning, it is that the thoughts of "why I did not do it before" invade me. They fly, surround me, hurt me (more laughter and raccoons). I just want to thank the work in the corrections, the freedom to write and the possibility to explore topics of interest of their own.

Good semester end
Crisis at JGM

For me the crisis in JGM has always been. The precarious situation and the treatment of civil servants has been in vogue lately, but for me it is a very constant
subject. I think it is deluded to believe that it is a new situation, and I
think it is wrong to take up the subject now, only when it came out on the
news. We all knew what was going on, and very few had ever cared.

However,
better late than never. I consider it important that students take ownership of
their spaces with officials, who become responsible for the common places and
relationships experienced in them. But I can not help being pessimistic. I feel
that, like many of the issues that the student movement has, this is just the
popular one of the moment, and then it will be abandoned like so many others.
This does not mean that there are no fruits, sowing consciousness is already a
breakthrough. But without concrete actions, it does not make sense.

Of all
this, I like the initiative that the officials have undertaken. They have an
increasingly strong voice, the choice to use it and make noise. They have been
the eternal forgotten of the academy and the student movement, despite being
always at our side. I hope that with time everything will change for the
better.
Visual Ethnography

My favorite subject is ethnography. This consists of the process of raising information through the observation of a specific human group, considering their behavior, relationships, etc.
The subject focuses on visual ethnography, through which the result of the investigation is communicated through visual argumentation. This should be supported by complementary research that puts everything in a broad context. And they are of different types: visual, sensorial, physical (with objects), videos, photographs and many more.
I believe it is important because it allows you to understand the process of research and observation itself. In this way, one is aware of the investigative method and can be applied in a good way in the journalistic investigations. Allowing to be efficient and responsible within the short time that a journalist has in preparing a topic.

Nanook of the north, is a important referent about visual ethnography
It has been interesting to explore the different ways and obstacles presented by research on a simple topic. In addition to learning the importance of the visual story to count with images and not words. This is the most complex, because everything has a raison, a sustenance with referents, and a specific meaning. Each part is a whole, and it talks to other parts building a great message.

A career-related website

I always visit the blog Quinta Trends, the link is www.quintatrends.com

It is a fashion blog, with a critical and local focus. I consider that it is related to my career, because I work investigating the body-fashion relationship in today's society, as a means of resistance and combat. The page offers various articles with a critical vision and local focus of fashion, spreading relevant actors with interesting ideas.
Many times, this serves as an inspiration, orientation or resource to give a concrete descent to an element that was looking for.
The blog is written by Sofía Calvo, journalist, academician, and director of the Asia Pacific program of the National Congress. It has been ten years of life, and has been the main voice for the conscious and critical analysis, the debate, and showcase for other voices.

It has managed to remove the frivolous vision of an important element for our social construction.

The smartphone can helps but also damage
The smartphone (my favourite jail)

The smartphone is my favourite piece of technology. Yes so millennial, and things of first wolrd.
First of all I choose it because offer millions of posibility for comunications, fun, pictures, social relations, etc. Is something amazing. But also, is some that has become in a very important part of my life. Literally I depends of it for so much things. Since talk with people, organize activities until my job. I work like Social Media Manager. The phone is crucial.

But, in other way, is a jail. We are looking forward it all the time. Is like a modern sickness, a way to participate of the sistem, To be blind.
Is a dangerous knife, with many posibilities but a lot of risk too. (and also expensive, sad face)
